ICO (Initial Coin Offering)

ICO, or Initial Coin Offering, is a method of raising capital used by startups to finance their blockchain projects. It is essentially a digital form of crowdfunding, where investors send cryptocurrencies (most commonly Bitcoin or Ethereum) to a predetermined address and in return receive newly created project tokens.
