How the check works
We compare the proposal with the names of legal entities in our own index of open data from the Czech public register and in live ARES. Legal form, spaces, punctuation and diacritics do not count as a meaningful difference; a shared generic word on its own is usually not a problem.
We check the domain in the CZ.NIC registry. We search trademarks in the EUIPO register by word element; check Czech national marks and international WIPO registrations in TMview. This is not a similarity search or an assessment of goods and services classes.
