Algorithmic trading

Algorithmic trading (or algo trading) is an automated method of trading in financial markets in which complex mathematical models and computer algorithms are used to buy and sell securities, cryptocurrencies or other assets. These algorithms can analyze huge amounts of data, such as historical prices, trading volumes and news, and execute trades much faster and more efficiently than a human would be able to, based on predefined rules.
