Anonymization is a process of processing personal data that aims to permanently and irreversibly make it impossible to identify the natural person to whom the data relate. As stated in Article 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if data is anonymised, it is no longer considered personal data and is therefore not subject to obligations under the GDPR.
