GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, or General Data Protection Regulation. This Regulation entered into force on 25 May 2018 with the main objective of strengthening and unifying the protection of personal data of individuals in the European Union and regulating their processing by all entities that process such data. The GDPR applies to all companies and organisations that operate on the EU market or process data of EU citizens, regardless of where their registered office is located.
