Self-employed person (OSVČ)

This is a natural person who conducts business in his own name and responsibility. Most often these are craftsmen, self-employed, freelancers, consultants, but also artists, lawyers or doctors. Self-employed persons are governed by the Trade Licensing Act and their tax and accounting obligations are regulated in the Income Taxes Act.
