Staking

Staking is the process by which users participate in the functioning and security of a blockchain network through the locking of their cryptocurrencies. This mechanism is key for blockchains using the Consensus Proof of Stake (PoS) method, whereby in exchange for holding and supporting the network, users receive regular rewards.
