Startup

A startup is a newly established company in its initial stage of development, whose primary goal is rapid growth and scalability. Unlike a traditional small business, which aims to be profitable from the start within a local market, a startup seeks to develop an innovative product or service to disrupt an existing market or create a new one. Startups are typically associated with technology, whether it involves software development, mobile applications, or hardware.

A key characteristic of a startup is its search for a repeatable and scalable business model. In its early stages, its existence is funded by the founders' own resources (bootstrapping), by angel investors, or most commonly, by venture capital. This funding allows the startup to survive an initial period of losses while it focuses on product development and user acquisition rather than immediate profit. The ultimate goal is either to become a large, independent company or to be acquired by a larger player in the market.
